Scan every notice for four things: the deadline, required action, exception and official source. Do not treat preferred as required or add facts the document never states.
A useful work note states who, what, where, when, action taken and follow-up needed. Exact nouns and short sentences beat impressive but vague language.
Ask what goes in, what comes out and what changed. Heat, pressure, moisture, electricity and chemicals follow patterns. Labels, training and procedure beat improvising.
